School Council activity is ramping up and we are looking for volunteers to participate in various subcommittees to help with some of these new plans for our school.

In particular: we are starting a playground greening subcommittee and a Fundraising committee.

The playground committee will focus on learning and planning for future developments to update the yard outside, and look at gardening and other options for space.

The fundraising committee will help support the orginization of events like the craft sale and song and story day.

for more information, email Danielle Aubin (aubin.danielle@gmail.com) and she will put you in touch with the right people to get involved!

This fall, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) has been considering changes to the delivery of French as a second language in kindergarten and grades 1-3 Early French Immersion (EFI).

In October 2015, parents and staff were asked to provide feedback about the recommended changes to how we deliver these programs. We heard from many people, but we also heard that more time was needed.

A detailed information sheet was sent home with each child on Thursday, December 3, 2015 and an automated voice mail was generated by the Communications department on the same day.

Additional consultation is now underway and we would like your input!

please share your thoughts with us.

Thank you in advance!
