As you have probably heard in the media, the Minister of Education has released the curriculum documents for Health and Physical Education, grades 1-12. The new curriculum will come into effect for September 2015. Over the next six months, the Ministry will be providing some training and support for school districts to deal with the implementation of the new curriculum. Curriculum Services staff will play a lead role and will be engaging principals and teachers in professional development in this area.
