Parent information night hosted by Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services

Please join a team of five counselors (a mixture of school-based, parent and family program counselors) from Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services for a parent information night.
The talk will cover:
1) Myths and misconceptions about substance use, spectrum of use and mental health
2) A grade 7 and 8 info session on what the prevention/intervention program looks like (presentations and counseling) for both substance use and screen time (video addiction)
3) A parent program overview, protective and risk factors, tools for your backpack.
This will be followed by a question and answer period.
