Weston Foundation Tree Planting

Mark Holowka's grade 6 students were busy planting a Sugar Maple Tree today as a follow up to their MacSkimming visit in May. The Weston Foundation donates the funds to cover the cost of a tree to help increase the biodiversity of the school yard. We are so fortunate that the trees donated over the past two school years will replace two trees we lost to severe wind damage last year. The new trees will also help us remember the wonderful grade 6 students we have had in the last two years!
